Discussion

There were two principal aims of this study. The first aim was to illuminate the field of stereotype research, in particular, by assessing relationships between implicit knowledge measures that are typically employed by researchers independently of one another. The second principal aim was to incorporate two areas of social psychological research; stereotyping and status, in order to assess the reciprocal implications for each area.
